Making EVs commercially in AU: If not NOW, When?

Although not particularly aerodynamic even though thats not a problem when most commutes you spend most of your time at or below 60kmhr, I think most van designs have longer design lives so more parts available but also built with more strength than similarly heavy hatches and sedans. They allow bet...

Electric cords are pretty annoying. Plugging in my van every single day has become a chore already. I'd like a lazier option, like an induction pad embedded in floor of my garage. That was the feeling from my work colleague after driving the iMiev for a few months. He had to get the cord out of the...

with all that money and resources they put ugly wheels from a skyline on it and made it look like a ricer special. Good way to ruin a classic. Nismo Leaf could do with more chrome work like the Alfa Romeo 8c. For me you need to go back to the streamlined masterpieces of the 20s and 30s much like the...

You have to get rid of 99 per cent of the Gov to get anything done here to do with the evolution of transport, food or social issues. A niche area that the big wigs arent looking into is easier not easy but a way to introduce EVs would need to be non-competitive to whats out there. Commercial delive...

Nothing wrong with the paint, white is perfect for hot days and easy to maintain, peeps forget how good white is as a colour. Leave it as is, focus on using a heat gun to remove the stickers and then some cut/polish. The stickers are better than a paint job like on tradie vans. So many themes possib...

Very true quite sad that motivation to finish their orders was not made. 14 saabs only! wow they might become collector items :) If saab re-made the 1949 92 or 93 series without the 2 stroke engines Id put an order for 15 easily :)) The way the world is going smaller, lighter, efficient, cool design...

Raising the subject of range extending trailers

Would it be difficult to just spend the money on the new recycled plastic tubbed trailers that have alloy frames then just fork out extra for a whole new pack of batteries. You would need good security eg. mobile phone tracking device and good alarm but it could double as a solar storage pack for th...

Thank you for the detailed information on UC. I look forward to the Molten Salt batteries over Lithium due to their low environmental impact and was hoping an UC could be used for acceleration and regen. I see only LiPo are worthwhile for our current needs but still hope the Zebra could come through...

Looks like an early 90s kit car not far from the Fiero in finish.
I thought doors where a requirement for a mass produced road car?
wihtout doors I would rather an 1955 Abarth 207A Spider Corsa Boano replica than that.
