Zebra battery and U Caps

The weight of $3k of UCaps could be an issue I didnt see. i would prefer a lighter engine for 250volt Zebra is there an similarly priced AC kit that would suit it? I just really like the idea of a single battery setup that is free from headaches of wiring, temp and other issues. If something better ...

Is the EV already obsolete?

I hope it does as the Vertigro system could be used in cheap sunny
salinated land without much use for anything else.

Zebra battery and U Caps

Thank you Mark, I would prefer the Lifepo but just wondering
if a zebra could be married to UCaps and be effective?
The Zebra looks so much easier to setup way less wiring and
not to mention bulletproof design with no environmental issues.

Id rather see no auto fuel surviving car stops at all however Id love human food instead. Its a matter of evolution where we can stop for fresh produce and a feed. Homegrown & homecooked - aquaponics or other Aussie grown agricultural technology is the way for rural communities. as for the comment.....

well done! this is a really lovely EV if only manufacturers could take a leaf from this one for some future vehicles aesthetics. When and if you insulate from road noise it will make a big difference and the diff it all depends on the ratio but you can also source a jp commercial or ford 9 inch and ...

Congratulations!!! this is my favorite EV atm, Im hoping you
enjoy all you planned and that others pay attention that it
is electric on the road. The Zeva controller looks right at
home and would have to make this EV more home grown than most.

Nissan Leaf Range

The Japanese designer must have based it on an electric catfish
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Electric_catfish
but strangely the marketing department called it "Leaf" to save face?
Its like the Mitsubishi "Pajero" means wanker in Spanish.
Like many EVs available far from appealing

Ive mentioned it before, and here is a taste of the type of vehicle
that is needed in sprawling congested cities that are filling up with
apartments and small homes due to the price of metro real-estate.
Its only a trial of 13 vehicles but for Suzuki its a good start.

I understand what Gow is saying about Marco Polo, its not sustainable to aim big and heavy in this industry but thats his choice as he honestly doesn't need the car to prove he is a tosser, he has proven that already. The same mentality litter our roads with 4wds in our cities both ICE and now as pr...

New bodyshells for classic roadsters and 4WDs

I think these are great ideas and will retain the value of the cars converted. The reason being is that there are few non unitary bodied vehicles available and todays cars are overly complex to convert and maintain. They are not made to be played with or service with ease. If you can change the body...

You still havent answered your 105kw pack charging on geo-thermal and hydro. As for disliking 4wd in cities I dont see how that can be classified as "just hate your fellow humans for making you feel inadequate". You think that using a 4wd in London traffic and going on pub crawls is "different"? I s...

I thought the Zebra battery could be useful in this scenario but would need quite some kind of ultra-capacitor setup. Theoretically if Mining adopted them because their fuel incentives where cut (like thats going to happen!) but then the batteries would be would drop to the prices Zebra initially ai...

Lovely idea, especially with the speed a tractor moves at it could mean
a very large area for solar array is more possible due to no aerodynamic
constraints. Not to mention a change over battery pack could be kept in
the barn with more solar arrays on the roof.
