Not that I think is good idea to let it go under 20%. But I really count with the entire energy, to 0,0%. I like to know if when the last bar disappears (at 12% SoC), I have enough energy to do more 10 km. With Canion and the voltages, I know how far I am of being stopped. One of this days I'm plann...

I believe kWh from the wall as the problem of in one car 0.0% SoC is 280 total voltage, and in another 320 total voltage. The both can take the same energy from wall but the first one as less battery capacity. So, I believe Ah is a more correct number to compare the I-MiEVs, but not perfect, for sur...

I would like to know your values of current battery capacity. Mine now at 35 Ah. With 4 years and 4 month and 81000 km. It was very interesting that Canion could show us that value.

Malm, 2011 i-MiEV, Portugal

Today was the day of the annual check. I was interested to get the current battery capacity, and they found it to me: 35,0 Ah. (24/7/2015 - 81748 km - 35,0 Ah). The last measurement was 6/3/2014 - 61821 km - 36,4 Ah. So, now that I'm keeping my batteries cold, loss of capacity is approximately 2% an...

No, only the entire pack. Nissan Leaf with that new pack are getting slower rates of battery degradation, here in Portugal.

Sudden reduction in RR

My answer is your car made a calculation of it's actual capacity, and now it calculates the RR, assuming a new capacity (significantly less then the last one)- My car done a similar thing, going from 150 km to 120 km (something like that, I really don't know the exact numbers) from a day to another.

11,5/14,865=0,77. The capacity of my car today is 23% less then yours last year.

Canion stop working in the middle of the journey. All that values turned 0. What I know is that when charging, around 50% SoC, 1% SoC is equal to 108 Wh, seen by Canion. This is lower then when it was new. Happy to know that it charges to 100% with 361 total voltage and cells at 4,105/4,100V, happy ...

In some (the new ones) I believe 100% is 16 kWh in the battery. But in mine, now...

i-MiEV Range *no discussion*

Mine was at 36,4 Ah with 62.000 km last March. Three years of age at that time. I assume 50,0 Ah at new, so that should be 72,8% of inicial capacity. Here, Mitsubishi Portugal says that less then 70% of inicial RANGE in 5 years should be degradation over the normal. SoC can really go to 0%, and from...

Imiev measured data

Well, I don't use math formulas or complicated thoughts. I just drive the car and see what happens. And what I see is that with rain I get less autonomy. I believe this is a result of more friction of the tires with the surface.

I think mine is perfect after 70.000 km and more then 3 years. For now, just have to replace the tires. Right front tire is in bad shape. It will be the third one. I recognize I have to change it every 20.000 km if I want to have it inside the law. And maybe its time to replace the 12V battery. I re...

That last time, when I went to 4% SoC (and with 287 V, and sure that it would shut off above 0,0% SoC), I made a full charge. Surprisingly (at least for me), it stopped charging at 96% SoC with 361 V (this time it was really really full - cell voltages 4,1 or 4,105 V). And only 14,89 kWh from that 4...

Some Portuguese data: Most of the times my car shut off only at 0,0% SoC. But not always, sometimes it gives me a extra bar around 30% SoC if I stop for some hours with that SoC, and then it will shut off with 2 or 3% SoC. The following pictures are from two times when it happened (this behavior is ...

Its nice to see several examples with 50, 60, 70k on them both in Au and over seas that haven't had any mechanical or electrical failures worth mentioning.
