it looks like the PLC talks to the ac/dc convert by a serial link so maybe that's just timed out.

maybe that's when we'll work out who owns them when the electricity bill gets noticed

It's based on the past 24 hours of usage so it'll change after every charge, the largest number I've seen is 140km fully changed after it didn't move for a weekend.

the problem is the business case lets say installing a dc fast charge is $90k
$1 a day for electricity service charge.

how many customers would you need if you picked highish fast charge cost $10 a car ? (blink charged between $5-$8USD)
