But the plug can be the final.
Simply lay the layers over it in epoxy then turn it over and melt the foam out with thinners.
I'm going to do that with a maybach I found

Any reason you are actually keeping the flywheel?
My understanding is that you can clutch straight to the adaptor because a flywheel is to maintain rpm component weight to avoid engine missing.
And the torque in an electric is different so so I can't see what use the flywheel serves.

my Tilting Trike is road registered!

Sorry I had to laugh at the cold comment :)
As a bike rider in Canberra freezing air traveling at you at 100kph is hell on earth.
If harnessed as a power supply the bike rider shiver could surely extend range lol...

Great work though :)
Now plan mark 2 :)

I bought it to do my car :)
At the moment it will do 2400x1200x200 but I will be adding some extra to the Z axis soon so can do up to 600.
So car gets done in sections :)

Still hunting down the milling arm for a full 6x3x2 5axis :)

Well guys a bout of good fortune has been thrust upon me and I'm in a generous mood :) I just acquired a 3D CNC router that can mill 3D body sections from your 3D cad files :) So I suggest a Aeva member competition :) over the next two months. Submit your pics of your fancy designs and I will pic on...

Brake testing

Or just put a bigger disk on than standard and they probably won't be able to argue the point.
The engineer said I wld have do a brake test on the mx5 when I turboed it.
So instead I slapped 350mm 6pot brakes on and never had to do the test because they rated to stop a car twice the size :)

Raising the subject of range extending trailers

Well as a tradie me and the boss have considered a range extending trailer.

But like the tool trailers with a big battery pack right at the bottom and solar on the top of the tool chest and on the big doors that open up.

Some merit there I think

Though I am lucky enough to know someone with a set of corner scales I do feel your pain. In my hunt for perfect 50/50 weight balance plus compensating for my weight as driver assuming passengers (battery draining dead beats) are not in the car 90% of the time this makes for quite a cell shuffle :) ...

But is that 12000 including the old batteries? Coz you can minus that cost because hey should have payed for them selves by the time you change em :) I got my pack from ev-power :) Rod was very good for service :) even after I ordered the pack I needed to change the pack size so he re absorbed mine ...
