EATV

As a build it from scratch man I say enjoy the pain :)
Just remember that pointless turning wheel in the middle of nowhere turned a boy into Conan.

Best advice I got is google till your fingers hurt then know exactly what questions to ask

EV Sticker for Number Plates

Well it's important because idiots might want to avoid EVs in thunderstorms so they don't get hit by lightning!!!

It's just a stupid regulation.
Same as using orange wire just in case you miss the 500 stickers with warning high voltage

Do yourself a favour...

Yeah I copped a 200amp sap from not earthing the tig and holding the metal :)
Got to say for 5 to 10 seconds I think I may have been strong as the hulk.
But 3 min later it was that feeling you get when winded but plus lactic acid :)

Will turn a car into a big cordless drill...
Not to say that the concept hasn't already crossed my mind :)

Easy go to a place that sells most worksite stuff.
Or a sign writer.

Ask for prism tape.

Either cut it yourself or get the sign writer to laser cut what you need

Milwaukee motor ev

Hey was just wondering if anyone has ever used a router motor in a small ev?

Was going through the Spare parts to my CNC and found new in a box a 110v 5hp 22000rpm motor.

Could this make a possible bike motor?

Soapbox on regenerative braking

Only if its a conversion :)
Currently the rolling chassis with batt pack sits at just over 700kg and gets pulled up by 350mm willwood brakes :)
There no pass issue here :)

The body shell will be no more than 100kg unless I lay it up like a tank lol.

And on the regen issue... Considering the extra cost of AC why not put those dollars into a bigger battery pack and enjoy the power of DC :)

That seems very high price for shipping on the mars unheardof...
My warp11s cost 600 a pice to ship from the states and they are 100kg.
Most of the mars motors I have found are all around the $700 mark per motor

Also regen round a corner? U mean braking round a corner? No that's cool if your into that... However as those who brake before the corner and power on will wave as they pass you :) if you don't spin out. On a race track that is :) Coz for those of us like me n zeva with brute power and no regen we ...

I looked at the Agni motors and after much comparing I settled on the mars me913

Is there something wrong with the mars?

Weber and Coulomb's MX-5

Hey what war are you in? The tank like battery box is quite the panza :) I would be taking to that with a drill and lightening the load bebeh. One thing I have learnt from race cars is that we often under estimate the strength of the material we use and the load it can handle. I made a battery box f...

Yup zeva mx5mania is where I got most of the stuff I diddnt make myself :)
1% not noticeable :)
Higher CG maybe but depends how you drive.

And bigger brakes coz it did 0-100kph in a flat 3seconds :)
Was a little beast :)

Controller for ADC x91- 4001 recommendation

Provided there is space between the guard and the upright surgery is fine. Stay away from where the engine mounts are and there not really an issue as the engine bay tinware is not so structural. The crossmember, engine mounts and shock towers take most of the loads. Just pay attention to the load d...

Weber and Coulomb's MX-5

An mx5 is set up so perfectly that when you change anything it is a radical difference to handling. With our one it took much tuning suspension and brakes before we got it right and in the end bit the bullet and put the 300mm disks in the engineer asked for and it was the right thing to do. When we ...
