What batteries are you planning on using? I have just brought a '93 Mira similar to this to convert.

What type and brand are these batteries? Where did you buy them from?

I am doing a 72volt 6kw scooter conversion. Does anyone know what gauge cable I should run for the high voltage current?

How expensive have members found the compliance certification for RMS (RTA). I am already been prepared by my certifier that it will be a expensive process.

Yes my 1978 Vespa only cost $600 originally. I am converting to a hub motor with disc brakes instead of the old drum brakes. I'm told that if it was 1976 or earlier the test wouldn't be needed. Has anyone who has converted a motorbike or scooter been required by their engineer to have a brake test costing $1800, in order to meet ADR 33?

Can anyone recommend someone who can manufacture a swing arm for a hub motor for my Vespa conversion? I have had 1quote at $4000! Too much I think.
