Do you have to pay for parking if before 5pm ?

Is it an EV reserved parking bay with 30 minutes max time (or perhaps 67 minutes) Kinda useless if not !
I cant see any signage ?

Right on about the need for a bollard !

I-miev Insurance (Comprehensive)

Ask if they have an iMiEV trained service technician and ask to see the certification for the technician before they can be charging for service. I know of one dealer who displayed an iMiEV certified service sign yet I knew personally the actual technician... Who had left a year before. When I chall...

I don't know if this technique has been posted before, but I found myself describing it to another imiev owner. When you find yourself driving a trip that may test your imiev range, from whatever state of charge... (oops, forgot to charge for example) Enter destination on NAV and select dashboard di...

Tinting is personal preference ? I would agree that driver comfort, distraction, fatigue are factors often overlooked in the vision only 'view' on tinting. I would note that I object to not being able to make eye contact through the side window of a vehicle about to pull out on you if the tinting is d...

Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV Specs.

Probably because if the battery pack was charged from the ICE before the trip, the average for the 850km range would be more like 10l/100km http://forums.aeva.asn.au/smileys/smiley2.gif Or perhaps if the ICE could charge the pack then some people would never bother to plug in for charge. Think about...

The problem is that if it is written off not because degree of damage but because of cost of repair then it will mean the insurance premium for iMiEVs will increase as the insurance companies will be put off by the cost. Then again... Is it a new for old policy ? That could be interesting. You could...

The US iMiEV was slightly better sized and looking than the Oz version. Why wasn't it sold here ? You are right, probably wasted on the US. Home of the gas guzzling tank http://forums.aeva.asn.au/smileys/smiley2.gif I'm thinking there that the US was one of the less likely markets to adopt the littl...

Many folk rubbish the iMiEV size and look.... I totally agree btw. But if that was all the problem then the larger and better looking leaf should have been a runaway success in Oz. Not he case sadly. Though better sales in some other markets. I guess it still comes back to price and range or perhaps...

Definitely sounds like all is well in the battery department Kurt. Canion just doesn't know where the bottom of the pack is 'Coz it never goes there would be my thought. Kurt, just recapping.... a new pack would take 16.5kWh from wall on 10A charge from vehicle drive refusal. This seems to be a relatively around the world number as I understand it. The unquestionable number that you have measured is 15.76kWh on a recharge from turtle onset. This seems well in keepin...

It is all very well pushing the SOC down when you are within pushing distance of home. I'm often 2 bars from the next power point. .... and you didn't go to 0% charge, just to onset of turtle. Just bolted it in. It is sold as a direct replacement... With the don't run flat proviso. Definitely wakes the starter motor up ! Alternators are naturally current limited and the battery can handle everything sent its way. Internal resistance is not unlike a large lead acid battery. In theory, at 4...

Andrew has been running a 60Ah 12V lithium from EVworks for some time in his ICE.
Great for cold starts and sound systems so I'm told.

Yes ..... But there is a problem. The 12V Lithiums come with a very stern condition.... Do not over discharge i.e. take any cell below 2.5V or you will likely kill the battery .... and possibly create a dangerous situation if the battery is recharged. If a cell is taken too low in voltage or reverse...

Mmmm, makes the charge amps in plug EVSE with 6/10/16A light in the plug and security code at $650 still a good buy. That is the one I have now. Though it is more like $750 at our present dollar value.
With hundreds of charges using it I can recommend it.

I have a need for a 6amp charge cable for my 2012 'i: The battery inverter charger is now running, the house battery can easily do a 1/4 to full charge overnight, but the inverter works fairly hard doing this, so it would be good to reduce the charge current to about 6 amps to keep the inverter hap...
