Would this work on a E-mower

No,No, No, Woody, Dad has a corded elec mower and having used it a couple of times it is a Pain i t A. and my yard is not very cord friendly (odd shaped lawn areas, kids swings, clothes line, corner block etc). Dont mind the weight as the old Rover is very heavy. I suppose I could always get my old ...

Would this work on a E-mower

I want to build a E-mower as my old Rover (super 4-24 70's model) is ... old and tired so rather than buy a new mower I was thinking about a conversion and I want some opinions on it. What if I was to use an old 240V washing machine motor (3/4 hp)and plug that into a 12V to 240V inverter running of ...

Blade Runner from BEV

Hi Soyachips, I havent got a Blade Runner but I did drop in at their shed in early August to have a look, Ross took me for a quick spin in a customers car and it seems like a great little car, The mk2's have a bit more grunt than the one I sampled but it was ample anyway. Used about 100 Amps at 80kp...

Paul, great project and you seem to have done your homework. Are you sourcing your parts from BEV? I went for a quick spin in their Bladerunner a while ago, great car, just wish it had a bit more range, and a bit cheaper http://forums.aeva.asn.au/smileys/smiley1.gif I always thought an old Holden 1 ...

Great work there Acmotor,
do you have a blog or build info with your Suzuki, looks like a well thought out system, would like to do the same in something a bit more aerodynamic.
What speed and range do you hope to get?

Aren't they great. Yes why don't we get them! Our Government has its head stuck in the sand or in oil corps rear ends. They would probably say 'they don't meet our design rules' which brings up another topic, why aren't design rules the same throughout the world, are people more fragile in different...

A friend of mine has all the bits to convert a moke to elec but is having the gearbox issues same as a mini conversion has, this mini conversion seems to have solved that problem though, he has even set up a conversion company.

Or Richo and others you could install Grid connected Solar panels (like I have this week) cost about $4000 after the $8000 Govt rebate for a 1kW system, (about 4kW average per day) would this be enough to charge an elec car? I wish I could understand electrics as good as you guys, are you all elec e...

Don't go hybrid to save money !

I see there is a company in Melbourne adapting Prius's
(or is that Prii) to plug in they add a Li-ion battery for an extra 30k range. Costs about $15000 now but hope to drop to $4000.

This link is to the company that will convert it
