I bought that mower and trimmer from Masters a few months ago on special, yes I paid more than that http://forums.aeva.asn.au/smileys/smiley19.gif but they are both excellent. Mower comes with two batteries and trimmer came with one. Woolworths will also be covering any warranty issues when Masters ...

Thanks mike. i was thinking of getting small quanities sent over and bench testing them to see which are the good ones than going from there. The idea I'm chasing is what I've seen on the net with large banks of 18650 cells or similar to the tesla ev banks that are out. Im a leaky and all the motor...

18650 battery cell

Hi, I have purchased 18650 cells from www.fasttech.com and dx.com. Both provided genuine cells (Panasonic and Sanyo), but expect to pay more for genuine products. Please don't buy anything with "FIRE" in its name (eg, firepower, fandyfire, singfire, etc) the "fire" is in the name for a reason. I hav...

Ok, I found the pdf, and the link for it here To quote the article "this black box is the front end of the electric Commodore's 30kWh battery pack, which fills the transmission tunnel as far back as the rear seats". You can see the package fitted in the photo on the last page, and of course as you c...

Hi Kim, They used a UQM Powerphase 145 Link with a (single speed) borgwarner e-geardrive mounted up the back where the diff would usually be, leaving plenty of room in the tunnel and up front for batteries. Pack would have been around 400v 30kWh. I have a pdf about it somewhere....will try to find i...

The individual responsible for the "claims" is Clive Mathew-Wilson, the author of the "Dog and Lemon Guide". He has written a paper Link which is what he is referring to for his claims. So I thought I'd better have a read of this "Paper". Actually calling it a "paper" is doing a huge injustice to th...

The cells from Paul (cell_man) seem to be legit, he has 15Ah and 20Ah cells, he has sent samples to quite a few people and everyone who has independently tested them seems pretty satisfied that they are the real deal. He has sent cells to CroDriver who also posts on this forum, so I'm fairly sure he...

That's a shame to hear about Andrew, hopefully he's moved on in a positive direction. His paper was what got me interested in electric cars in the first place, it's a very interesting read.
