Re: Intel on Ioniq 5

There was a piece on The Driven web site with the same pics.

Re: BlueLink

I'm still curious why Bluelink got canned in Australia when it is still available elsewhere. Presumably the issue was more to do with compliance / regulation than anything technical?

Re: 2020 Ioniq 2020 Stats

Great work on the stats. My stats aren't so comprehensive. Mostly because I'm lazy. I am taking part in a study by Energex looking at charging habits within QLD so I have an OBD dongle tracking charging / discharging. This was my December (1370km driven). 2021-01-02_21-19.png I also get to download ...

Re: Hyundai Maps Self updater

I was wondering - how do we know when there is another update available that needs the update procedure to be run again? I expect that Hyundai dealers will just do the update at the next service if it has not been done already by the customer, so it does not matter much if the customer doesn't chec...

Re: 2020 Ioniq

I generally get about 350 km driving to work and back for 4 days in a row, but it means a long weekend of solar charging. So I tend to put 10 kWh in each night from the house battery. On the highway 260 km is possible at 100 km/h and no aircon. Maybe 220 km at 110? Relying on the trickle charger sc...

Re: 2020 Ioniq

Ioniq fully charged.jpg New high score! That is pretty amazing. Do you drive in eco mode? I've had mine 4 weeks now and done 1400km (1500km service coming up this week). I'm getting much better than the quoted 311km for sure. I charged yesterday and got in this morning to this. range.jpg So I'm pre...

Re: Electric Car (EV) Home Charger - 32A - Options?

Hi Mooch. This surprised me too. But I found it. It's in the Queensland Electricity Connection Manual . First see Section 8.4.1 to learn that Section 4.2 applies — in particular Table 4.1. Section 4.2 is concerned not with the current per se, but with the change in current that occurs when the equi...

Re: Hyundai Maps Self updater

I really wish the discontinued Autolink app was better integrated to the car like Bluelink overseas. We will be getting the bluelink app soon in Australia. Where did you hear this? I've just got an Ioniq and it was built just after the cut off for Autolink, so I'm certainly keen if there is an upgr...

Re: Electric Car (EV) Home Charger - 32A - Options?

I recently bought an Ioniq and I'm very happy with it. I also bought the Delta home charger / EVSE to go along with it (purchased from Hyundai and it comes from JetCharge). After getting the EVSE installed on its own 32A circuit, I am only getting 4.5kW charge rate so I went back to the supplier and...

Re: 2020 Ioniq

Hi All, I've got an Ioniq Electric Elite on test at the moment. I've been keen to get into an EV for a while and have been put off by pricing but I think I can justify it now, especially with solar at home. I got a 36 hour test drive from Hyundai via the Brisbane Lions (the Lions have a Hyundai busi...
