Re: Kona EV Real World Range Experience

Just a couple of numbers to add

24/10/2019 - 07368km - 100% GOM = 549km @ 26deg
27/01/2020 - 14857km - 100% GOM = 556km @ 31deg
05/10/2020 - 24824km - 100% GOM = 546km @ 25deg

10000km reading 12.5kWh/100km
20000km reading 12.6kWh/100km

I have been waiting 7 weeks for mine to come from 270km away. Mine is lake silver, but perhaps it is more a smokey grey.
I think the Lake Silver is a great colour, though I am a little biased.

Very interesting Chris.

The numbers you have posted above, is that this years or a cumulative total?

LOL, Km driven on one charge is the only measure mate, not the GOM numbers.

This was the day after the 30+°C day. I had been using the aircon all day but still returned a 10.7kWh/100km. The Kona is amazing !
It sure is. You are getting very similar stats to me. I'm at 11200km at 12.6kWh/100km

Re: Kona EV Real World Range Experience

I have managed 548km without charging with 23km remaining.

This included highway, mountains and regular city driving.

Here is a video that I did about it called "How Far Can You Go In A Kona On One Charge?"

Wow, great to see a forum area with actual posts and to see all the Kona owners! For those newbies, I plan to do an in depth review of the Kona that covers a lot of items that wouldn't normally be covered by CarSales or the likes. I actually haven't seen a bad review on the Kona yet so I'm not going...

Congrats, I hope you didn't pay full sticker price. The 28kWh Ioniq now requires a discount due to the release of the 38kWh version as mentioned by Ian D.
