The zebo motor is quite heavy at 100kg plus and most new conversions would be ac motors
Yes the batteries are used but could be good for home storage. I used the charade for 4 years as a daily 40k each way commute but was able to charge at work .

The car does need the gearbox replacing ...there is a spare and the batteries have reduced capacity . Originally 100k range and more but now down to 60.
