Re: PIP-4048MS inverter
I will also warn others against performing the upgrade with the grid connected to the inverters: for 2 out of 3 inverters the flashing went on without issues, the 3rd one started extremely slow (more than 1h to 40%) and kept dropping out of the process at various percentages. Re-trying would usuall...

Re: PIP-4048MS inverter
How does the BMS drop out the PIP system, disconnect battery ? Yes. Crude, but effective  The neutral from the inverter is switched, but not the supply neutral. I don't think i got this, you mean that you only switch the load, but you leave the inverter with the GRID ON ? Sorry, that was a bi...

do you have any idea that if i use POPnn to switch the inverter to grid/battery few times / day, will be written to EPROM and decrease the number of writes ?
thanks

Re: PIP-4048MS inverter
Hi guys,
i want to add some Pylontech batteries to my setup,
Can the ICC software manage my PIPs for charging the Pylontech batteries using the modified firmware, or should i make my own scripts to manage the charging.
Thanks

Hi Weber, I have around two weeks on the 72.70c beta and the only issue that i notice its that the invertor temperature increased a bit after the upgrade: before the upgrade the temperature was between 40 and 45 , now its around 45-50 celsius degrees. Hi IonutD. Thanks for testing. What version wer...
