Brushed or brushless?

I will have a spare new BLDC Golden 5-7KW 48V-72V Etec replacement mtor with 7/8" shaft but water resistant. Bringing in a couple, one for my electric yacht conversion, along with controllers and LiFePO4 batteries.

Should be in Oz in a week.

I like the way they have obviously incorporated a reduction gearbox with CV Joint Socket as outpot shaft - neat idea for compact installations.
