STUCK IN ISOLATION
Hello, Blade Brains Trust ... My Blade Electron has decided to get stuck in the "Isolation Check" stage of ignition ... all electrics work, brake compressor, battery cooling fan ... car batteries and 12V are fully charged ... but it won't move on from that stage ... and the auxiliary motor won't run...

Yes ... or rather UPcycling ... and keeping them as two-seaters for both weight and capacity.

EOI ... Blade Electron could be for sale
I have THREE Blade Electrons ... and I'm toying with the idea of selling my first one to pay for recycling the other two. I'm in Castlemaine, Victoria, where they were built. 2008 ... 21,000km ... I think it was #2 ... built for the City of Melbourne. Registered and with RWC. These cars are a piece ...

Re: EV BATTERY DISCUSSION AND SUGGESTIONS
Another suggestion are cells from wrecked EVs ... I know in the US a lot of Tesla wrecks are supplying batteries for conversions and upgrades ... the entire floor plan is a big battery!
or simply replacement cells for those models ... the two mentioned are Nissan Leafs and Holden Volts ...
Discuss?

Re: EV BATTERY DISCUSSION AND SUGGESTIONS
How many kwh do you need?I am trying to get some people to do a group buy to get the price down for the freight. The cells I want to buy are 3.6v 63Ah. The price per cell from the supplier is US$45. I also have developed a cooling system and all the mounting hardware which I can sell to you as well...

EV BATTERY DISCUSSION AND SUGGESTIONS
Can I start an EV battery discussion? I have two EVs I want to bring back from the dead. The batteries they had were Thundersky L-Ion ... what's out there now that I should consider? WANTED: AZURE DMOC 445
Hey, EV Fans ... I'm in need of an Azure DMOC 445 for my 2008 Blade Electron. (I believe they were never terribly reliable, and I guess I am proof). New, used or recovered ... WHAT'S IT SAY ON THE BLADE BINNACLE?
OK, Blade Masters ... I'd like to know what the information is on the Dash Binnacle of my 2008 Blade ... most of the information is evident ... total charge, etc ... but does someone know the other stuff? Is there a diagram available?

Re: HAS ANYONE HAD THIS BLADE PROBLEM?
Possibly overtemp sensors limiting power. Could be controller, motor or BMS. If it does not reoccur in cooler weather - that probably is it. The Blades without cooling do not like really hot weather. Given the difficulty (read: 'impossibility') of getting into the programming for either the AZD con...

HAS ANYONE HAD THIS BLADE PROBLEM?
First time I have had a debilitating problem with my Blade where it absolutely "ceased to proceed." It was 38F ... driving a hot black road ... suddenly *chug-chug-chug* ... like an ICE missing, seizing or running out of petrol. It sounded and felt horrible. Decided to wait and recharge ... I was on...

Re: RETROFIT SOUND GENERATOR FOR EV?
Well, I've decided I probably don't need it. My 2008 Blade Electron has a nice healthy whine as it cruises along ... mostly from the auxiliary motor that drives the power steering ... and the regenerative braking make a noise. But this has been an interesting discussion.
