the torqueedos are doin some great marketing, good performance figures but dear. they are introducing a 10hp equivalent running at 48v they tell me.

You Rang...... what a great thread, reminds me of the co-operation that first embraced the net. I think Brett? hit the nail on the head, its about the perception of EV's. Brett.. 5.     Consumer reluctance to embrace EV’s is PARTLY because of concerns about range and performance (rightly or wrongly)...

ok so most current vehicles are geared to recharge from 240, ( I see the fast charge batteries (tesla etc) recharge on 415v) so redesigning trailer and cable design will be important & battery bank switching and associated transformers to compensate for voltage differences as well? does anyone have ...

well like u blokes the vision of e-vehicles is very clear to me, i personally like the e-boats as an alternative way to ICEing up our rivers and find that very exciting I live on a lake that everyone thinks is a mudhole, its very shallow but teems with bird and wildlife, under electric power the lak...
