Buying an i-Miev in Australia - different radios

Yeah, again 2011, 2012 are the models to consider. If you work your way through the other topics on the forum you will find what you need and more but I think this will help. I believe that a 15 Amp GPO (General Purpose Outlet)or domestic power socket is only available if you have three phase power ...

Buying an i-Miev in Australia - different radios

G'day Bindi, I've a long history of big audio in my cars and i'd have to say the Eclipse touch screen (Higher of two available options) is the go. I believe 2011 and 2012 are the model years you're after. The eclipse requires acknowledgment for blue tooth and gps ever time the car is "Started&q...

Electric Logo for your plates

Hi Gabz, I don't know of any Standards with regard to these. My plates previously carried a Red LPG Diamond for hazard notification etc, I just though these were a cool natural progression.

SO much valuable research,.... thanks offgridQLD. I've been pondering roof racks as I use my Kiev as a trades vehicle from time to time and the ladder currently rides shotgun!

Noted offgridQLD, sound advice, but WOOOHHOO to carnut1100 for finding out just how far the Turtle will go. For my records that will be 5 k's. Thanks guys. and talking of converts,... my good mate just picked a Miev from Rockingham. Is that 11 in Perth now? Soon there will be competition for those f...

Nice work Cometboy,

with patience and good timing significant efficiencies can be achieved. I drive during off peak, sheltered (from winds)roads mostly 70 and 80km/h and brake with a double tap for max regen. Still trying to beat that 132 without turtle ;-)

i-MiEV Range *no discussion*

Ooops, She who must be obeyed, reminded me that only 70kms (about 1.5Hours) of headlights. That run is in normal D mode (I do ride the brake a little to keep the regen up, old go karting habit) from Singleton to Kaleeya Hospital Freo. and return (via Old Mandurah Road and along the coast), plus two ...

New I-Miev owner

G'day acmotor, big fan of your work.

May I ask what format was the supply plug on the charge amps 16A EVSE when you got it, primarily did you need to DIY to a 240V 3 blade plug?
Cheers

Thanks people

G'day!

Thank people, all the information and apparent expertise on the forum is reassuring. Still waiting for delivery of 2011 iMiev model from Brisbane??

Keen to test outer limits of the Mitsubishi warranty. Look forward to catching up with some of the Perth owners at some point.

Cheers
