New Imiev may be bigger . current battery shortage
Now, how could I get the imiev to also tow a 300kg camper trailer(which is what I normally tow with the 1000km range (dual fuel) on my ICE). And how long to recharge 100kW at a stopover? I do have visions of an imiev with pop up tent for downsizing my camping options! Have you seen the Electric MG ...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2BO61aTP-UE lol Malaysian Ferraris Nice video. Did you notice at 4:49 the Captiva - it had a Chevy badge. What is interesting is that around 20 years ago, I don't think Chevy was officially sold in Singapore. There was Holden and Opel with more Opel cars than Holden c...

Volt $2.50 to fill? But it costs more to run
At the end of the day, the high price tag of the Volt in Australia is unjustified when the same car in USA is significantly cheaper (even before all the tax rebates). The price of the Volt in Australia is one of the few for imported cars that I can see as justifiable. The pre-incentive price in the...

Singapore is an ideal country for Electric Vehicles. Commuting distances are not that large. Owning a car is very expensive in Singapore. You pay for parking. You pay COE (Certificate of Entitlement). You pay extra fees once the car is over 10 years old. I can see a lot of potential with the smove m...

Volt $2.50 to fill? But it costs more to run
It appears the purchase price of the vehicle has been included in the calculations. If that is the case, then the article has merit. In her article, it also says that if you can pick one up for $50k and you drive 60km a day then you might save money. At the end of the day, the high price tag of the ...

Imiev - recommended ripoff price 51k
Lol ripoff has dropped to 35990 Still a ripoff But i guess bad publicity is publicity Someone keeps forgetting to reduce the price The advertised price is not the same as the sales price. They can put what ever price they want in the ad, but as soon as someone walks in with money that is not even c...

Imiev - recommended ripoff price 51k
Prices will fall further on all cars - whether Electric or ICE. Car sales have fallen dramatically in Europe (which is a huge car market). You only have to read the car magazines and see that prices have fallen dramatically over there already. When dealers and importers start contacting you, you kno...

I am tempted to keep the wrap, but was a bit concerned that the adhesive may be impossible to remove after several years.
Talk to Funky Car Skins about vinyl wraps. You might be able to put decals on top of the existing wraps.

good better bosch - electric car info
Fat chance this will be made available to the diy Electric Car Conversion community. Too many companies have made all sorts of projections of what could be available in the market. As far as I am concerned, I'll believe it when I can see it working in an Electric Car that I can drive and is availabl...

“Electric cars won’t save us” Article
With advances in telecommunications technology including video conferencing, a lot of people in office jobs could work from home. That will cut commute times, clear up congestion on transport networks and give workers more free time as the commute time is cut. Businesses then won't have to provide o...

I believe I heard on evtv.me that some states in USA are looking to see how they can tax EVs to make up for the short fall in revenue from gasoline taxes.

In my opinion, the Carbon tax is anti EV.
It is beyond me why the carbon tax was not applied to gasoline and diesel, yet I believe it was applied to natural gas.
