Re: CCS 1 BMW i3's

At near on $1000 you'd think there's some electrickery going on in there. Although I suspect it's just a straight pass through and the price is due to a limited (and captive) specialty market This Link has a basic circuit diagram. just click the 3rd image and hover over to see the enlargement. http...

Re: Vehicle servicing by dealer, or find another option?

KlinkPC, your new MG ZS EV has 7 years or 160,000kms warranty & roadside assist. The MG website has a page on Servicing, do they provide fixed price servicing for MG cars? With a warranty of 7 years surely you would want to have a good service history with MG, if you happened to have a major warrant...

Paul, This should be an interesting project on this forum. Do you have a Link for this hovercraft make, model and specifications? I can't find this one on the Hoverjet Site. Re: Feedback/Conversation on Preferred Smart Charger

I purchased An OpenEVSE in kit form from the American seller, after receiving good advice from AEVA forum users. I can recommend this EVSE. The OpenEVSE has an advantage over other other branded EVSEs as all of the individual component modules are available as reasonably priced spare parts. As the c...

Goodwe SBP 3600 / 5000 series Hybrid Inverters

I recently received a Goodwe SBP 5000 & ZEVA BMS16 v3 kit, and most of the components to complete a portable UPS system with my AVASS batteries. Thanks for the advice of forum users who helped me select these components. This will be a good project to keep me off the streets. The SBP Series User Man...

Re: AVASS cells 2nd lot

To those people who have successfully completed their AVASS battery installation, I have some questions about your battery interconnection links. I plan to strap my cells into 4 rows each of 4 cells then connect these cells into a compact 4x4 grouping, this will require links of 2 different lengths....

Re: OpenEVSE Charging Station any Users?

Thanks for your replies, Those OpenEVSE photos are great. Is that 3 phase unit squeezed into a smaller local box, I can't judge the dimensions of box and those thicker cables? Chris, I will also require a single phase unit for my EV, so the convenience of lighter weight and more flexible cables shou...

Re: OpenEVSE Charging Station any Users?

Bump.

Forum searches for OpenEVSE show these members jonescg, doggy, brunohill, reecho, and seem to indicate possible assembly, use or ownership of an OpenEVSE charge station.

I would appreciate any feedback on these type2 capable chargers.

OpenEVSE Charging Station any Users?

I need to purchase a 7kW EVSE for home and use on interstate trips. There are some compact devices that would seem suitable for travelling and taking on board the vehicle. Hi Scott, I live nearby & have an EV currently in transit to Adelaide. The EV has a CCS / Type 2 combo port. It has a public charging cable & a 240V at 10Amp EVSE with a type 2 plug. Is your charger an already approved product that will interface with the vehicles plug locking device? I have heard o...
