We have a 2kw grid system which I moniter with a Sunny Beam data collector, it has a daily graph and a monthly one. The most we have produced in a day is 13.3kw/h which was in late feb/ march I think. The daily graph is interesting in that around late dec it starts producing power from about 6am up ...

A bit of googling found this site http://www.infrastructure.gov.au/roads/vehicle_regulation/bulletin/importing_vehicles/general/index.aspx which looks like a lot of reading with all the links etc but it should give you the answers you need and probably some you don't need. Keep us posted on how you ...

I don't think you'd be allowed to import anything new unless it complied with our ADR's so you may just have to wait until the Nissan Leaf arrives in 2012.

EV's in magazines
I've been a bit slack with this topic but in the latest UK CAR
magazine (Dec 09) they have a 32 page supplement on EV's, it is issue one of 'green car' magazine so may be a regular thing. This issue has a drive test of an Audi R8 e-tron, the writer is very impressed.

Does anyone know how many EV's are going to be on show?
I hope to be able to get there but I will need to start being nice to She who must be obeyed so I can get a leave pass.
I was hoping to drag the MOA electro moke along but that may not happen now.
