Anyone spoken to EV-Works lately?
Good news,
Tim from EV-Works has gotten back to me this morning. He says he's had a fair bit of a back log over Easter, so, with any luck you should hear from him soon.
Perhaps send him another email?

Anyone spoken to EV-Works lately?
Hi Guys, I was just wondering if anyone has spoken to anyone from EV-Works in Perth lately? I placed a deposit on a motor with them, and I was told it would arrive in approx 6 weeks, and it's now getting onto 10 weeks without hearing anything. I have tried contacting them a few times by email and ph...

any news on Arc EV workshop for Melbourne? An Ariel Atom-like single seater "Blade Edge" would have made more sales globally than an Electron for Ross. Unfortunately, money became scarce, and I had to go back to my main job. However, I'm slowly putting things together, so, don't lose hope. (I'm try...

Hi Ben, welcome to AEVA. I too am converting a Mazda 121, mine being an 88 model fun top. So far, I haven't come across anything difficult in my build, so there's no surprises for you coming up. The DA and DB series 121's share the same gearbox, so if you're after some guidance on the adapter plate,...

This isn't that new. Ion thrusters have been around for a very long time, it's just that they're refining their use.

Not to steer the topic too far off course:
I just got in touch with Ian at Digital Home Tech, he tells me he hasn't got any of the power or control boards in stock currently, so there could be a wait for Open Revolt controllers.

Just price checked both of them. Electric motorsport want $50usd for the throttle itself, or an extra $2.50 for the matching opposite grip, and postage cheapest at $34 and $85 for global express. Holmes hobbies want $41 for the throttle and opposite grip, and $32 or $40 for postage. Thanks electrocy...

Revenge of the Electric Car
I'd agree with that assessment. It mainly showed each of the cars, and the trials each manufacturer went through to get it to production. They made it feel like it's a major victory and a feel good film. Call me a pessimist, but the way the carried on, it was as if they expected everyone to have an ...

Making EVs commercially in AU: If not NOW, When?
There's a couple of obstacles that would need to be overcome. Firstly, Australia's love affair with Holden. It's an Australian icon, and something that can't be taken away from our image. I think that if a new car brand came on the market, Australian's would be very reluctant to look, particularly i...

The only place I can find the Magura throttle is overseas, http://www.electricmotorsport.com/ The price for it is fair, but the shipping is the killer.

Back on topic... It's taken me a little bit of time, and I still have a bit more in front of me to be set up fully. I'm Brad of Arc EV in Pakenham, Victoria (South-east suburbs of Melbourne). With any luck I will have my website operational by the end of this week. www.arcev.com.au For now I'm conce...

A call for professional EV conversion workshops?
I know this is an old thread, but you did ask for us to make ourselves known. I'm Brad, and I'm just setting up shop in Melbourne's South East, initially EV-Parts supply, but once I get myself sorted, will be moving in to conversions. I will keep you posted on happenings, but I'm trying to be regist...

Hey guys. Been an inactive member for a little while now and have finally decided to take the plunge into the EV world. I have just started a conversion to my old Kawasaki Ninja 250. So far I've got the engine and all associated bits out, and will be working on separating the engine loom from the ac...
