Car seat covers and rubber floor mats for LEAF?

Hi, Has anyone had any success locating an Aus supplier for some decent, good fitting car seat covers for the LEAF? I like these neoprene covers from Wet Okole ( http://www.mynissanleaf.com/viewtopic.php?f=37&t=4274 ) but they are only for made left hand drive (LHD). http://www.wetokole.com/ Also, h...

I bought a ...... Leaf!

Thanks Bryce, before purchasing the EV trial vehicle, Nissan Aust advised that if I wanted a functioning Sat Nav with Carwings, I needed to change the head unit at a cost of $6k!! My local dealer also quoted around $6.5k!! A simple change of the SD card with maps will obviously not work, so I expect...

I bought a ...... Leaf!

Congrats Bryce, i just picked my EV trial LEAF last week as well. I'm in Geelong & am a member of the Geelong ATA EV branch. Got any ideas about sourcing an Aus sat Nav headunit to get Carwings etc working? Cheers, Tim j

70 mph Prius - Wakefield followup

The Orion BMS is described in the Ewert weblink that you listed earlier. Apparently, with the Orion BMS, you don't need to drive like a snail to stop the ICE from kicking in (unlike the Enginer kits). Apparently NilCO2s new kit using the Orion BMS has no involvement with Enginer. However, NilCO2s sm...

70 mph Prius - Wakefield followup

Sounds like NilCO2 are developing a very similar kit using the Orion BMS. Is not yet available but I understand that it's not far way, but costing around $13k+ for the 14kw LifeMnPO4 HV batteries/Orion kits installed. A larger 26kW kit will also be available. I think I'll stick with the K40 kit for ...

Plug-in conversion kit for Prius - NilCO2 kit?

Hi munter, We've had the kit in for a little while now and average consumption for suburban driving in Geelong is around 4.1-4.3 l/100km. We'd only get about 25km of 'blended' EV/ICE driving from the 4kwh unit, so we usually charge it every 2nd night or more. Based on my plug-in power meter we use a...

Plug-in conversion kit for Prius - NilCO2 kit?

By the way, does anyone have any recommendations for a bumper mounted power inlet? I'm currently feeding the extension cord into the boot as I'm not keen on installing a crappy looking Clipsal unit on the rear bumper. I have seen the Marinco Guest inlets in the US (as per Hymotion kits), but not in ...

Plug-in conversion kit for Prius - NilCO2 kit?

Lead foot is the issue and she has not learnt yet how to feather the accelerator once at speed to get the blended EV to kick in. I have been resetting the consumption each week, depending on who's driving it. I can get lower consumption 'cos I regularly pressing the 'EV' mode button whilst under 45 ...

Plug-in conversion kit for Prius - NilCO2 kit?

FYI, I finally installed a NilCO2 K40 kit into my Prius. It was an easy job, even for a novice like myself, but took a total of 6-7 hours to complete. Fuel use in city commuting has not dropped significantly yet (still around 5.8 l/100k), but that's mainly due to my wife not alternating her driving ...

Plug-in conversion kit for Prius - NilCO2 kit?

Hi, I'm a newby to this forum so please be kind..... http://forums.aeva.asn.au/smileys/smiley9.gif I appreciate that this is not a pure EV, but has anyone had any experience with the NilCO2 conversion kit for the Prius? Apparently they have installation contractors available across Aust, or DIY is p...
