That sounds good to me... I agree the time seems right to put some facts up front...Who is out there in ev land that is qualified with technical facts to put the ev case....I find it unbelievable that some of the 35M is going to the most wealthy motor company in the world....

Kando,as you know governments move in mysterious ways.Why an electric car would be not allowed into Australia would be beyond me.They are encouraged in the UK and the US. However, my past experience with governments is one of "their decisions are usually based on poor information and poor decisions"...

If you havent seen the car look up on the web the new China electric car...it is the BYD E6 Electric car...Hopefully, there has been no spin put in this article and all is true as written. China is closer than I thought to production.

India announced today 06.06.2008... a 30% rebate off the purchase price of a small electric car. This is what we need to hear....Hopefully, news like this is just beginning.
