Antiscab's NWH10 Prius plugin Lithium conversion
Tested nhw11 0-50kmh 7sec with fuel pump off. Which equates to 18.5kw ev mode. Based on 1325kg mass of car and driver. One should be able to use a voltage modifier circuit to limit throttle output to EV only values, thus giving the car EV mode! A simple WOT switch could be used to disengage the volt...

Antiscab's NWH10 Prius plugin Lithium conversion
12kw is enough to reach 100km/h in the right conditions, what is the top speed you have reached whilst being able to shutdown the petrol engine? I know it spins at 41mph with no fuel adding about 1.5kw of parasitic drag. I have a project in the works for which I wish to use the Hybrid power plant in...

Antiscab's NWH10 Prius plugin Lithium conversion
21kw is the current limmit in the nhw20, the nhw11 was limited to 10kw before asking petrol engine to switch on at which point it would supply up to 18kw from the battery and 15kw from the generator. If the NHW10 is different, as it may well be, then this would make things even more interesting. The...

Antiscab's NWH10 Prius plugin Lithium conversion
the battery ECU lowers the max discharge rate limit Wow, that would really suck, because the default is like only 10kw. I've been thinking there is an advantage to the 1st gen over the 2nd gen, the physical capability to run full ev power from batter pack. As it doesnt have a multi stage inverter, ...

Just stoped by again to see that nothing has been Implemented. The Rather obvious "hint" has been overlooked in favour of doing nothing. Sadly this appears to be the case with all things within AEVA, they are worse than the mensa club. However EVNE will continue to Inform the public and push for the...

LifeTech, sounds Interesting, but ofcourse at 15C they hardly leave A123 in the dust, ofcourse if you actually make them available to the public then that is another matter entirely. I'll take a photo and put it up on my website. The cells are still naked and not boxed because I am still working on ...

I am always very cautious of chinese companies that advertise incorrect data about their product, the cell pictured is a Lithium manganese pouch cell, not a Phasphate cell, also who is this company and who do they currently supply, more than likely they do not manufactur the cell. Personally I find ...

I have a 30S64P 99v, 147ah pack capabale of around 300kw, It is made from 1,920 "26650" size cells I am still working on the BMS but so far has only cost me $15,000.AUD. There are always alternatives for your applications, sometimes the cheapies can do the job if your willing to sacrifice longevity....

EV Run to Adelaide AGM and Festival, 2010
Actually. ICV = Individually constructed Vehicle This means that there is a massive headache for the engineer who has to deal with the ADR Board, whom although still supporting ICV's in Australia don't want them, The ADR make up the rules as they go even though rules have been published that we must...

Golden Motor - any experience?
I just checked back with kelly and they have updated their product list since I last spoke with them. I can only assume that they were incorrectly quoting their controller specifications as they have now changed the specification considerably. Sinewave controllers are not that difficult tho they do ...

The 7000B is the 72v version of the 5000B, I believe they actually call it a 5000B 72V on their website but when it arrives it says 7000B on the motor. I had some pics of the motor pulled down somewhere I'll have to post them up, It is of very simple design, almost crude, but very cheap.$. If They c...

I am saying that the motor was Intended to be a PMAC motor, to my knowledge PMAC motors are mearly Synchronous machines. Harmonics are usually a product of Inductive Reactance within the stator coils. The windings within HPM-10K have a very low resistance which creates a low Impeadance and low level...

I wanted to drive to Adelaide, I figured It would take 3-4 days to travel the 1650km. But I hit a snag, The $24,000 Certifiaction fee for an LEP-2-ICV-EV. Anyhow I'll be going In My Old MightyBoy EV with a Generator in the Back. If there is anyone Traveling from Sydney I'd Like to meet up with them ...

I have been dealing with Golden Motor with this since about October 09, and yes it was only a few weeks away then, too. Frankly I don't quite understand what was so hard about my request, as Initially they said they would develop the motor inhouse, and that my services would not be required to build...

We have had another Belingen festival, SLEX, Green Energy Design [Tamworth] and even become "Electric Vehicles New England" Tho there are some who do not yet recognise us,
[nudge nudge wink wink, *cough forum administrator cough*

Hi, It seems there are some discrepancies about me, let me clarify. OSN Power, china Authorised me to resell the A123 batteries in 2009. OSN being an Authorised OEM Distributer, However in 2010 A123 Informed OSN that resale to the public was not allowed and thus I am no longer permitted to sell bare...
