Siemens 1PV5135-4WS14 motor

Post by coulomb »

Moving motors around can be a chore, especially when they weigh around 90 kg. Here I'm trying to jam a Siemens 1PV5135-4WS14 into the box that an ABB 3GAA 131 008E motor, that I know is slightly larger than the Siemens. I didn't figure on the bracket that my Siemens came with. On a sloping driveway, I was not about to take the bracket off in mid air.

I managed to manhandle it to the ground in safety, with only a scratch on the Prius bumper bar (and with the wife watching, too Image ).

[ Edit: -WS24 -> -4WS14 in motor part number ]
