The ridiculous shape aside, how on earth he got the price that low?
Just add rocket launcher at the back, and it's ready for Middle East export!

Re: Elon Musk presents the new Tesla Cybertruck Launch
I wonder how it would go after a really bad accident. Sure, the other guy is probably going to come off second best (unless it's another cyber truck), but I can see you still will have the need for some repairs under some circumstances. Traditional panel beaters aren't going to know how to repair one of these. Even if they just bought new panels, maybe they are joined by some new technology, and will the exoskeleton be safe after the repair?
Lastly, without traditional crumple zones, will the passengers actually be worse off safety wise? Imagine the whip lash you could get from a collision when the metal just refuses to crumple. Maybe this whole construction concept will never get approved. But I hope all that can be ironed out (so to speak); I like bold new ideas.
Elon did say it doesn't look like anything else!
