Re: 54v super cap detail
We can see "3.0 Wh" written on the capacitors. Therefore the pictured module can store 20 x 3 = 60 Wh. So to store 7 kWh you'd need 7000 / 60 = 117 modules.

Until some1 cuts open Arvio box and has a Captain Cook many believe it is actually a battery!
A quick calculation on the back of a envelope 0.24 * 0.3 * 0.16= 0.01152 m^3
so 117 would need a cabinet of 0.01152* 117= 1.35 m^3 to house them
Dose any1 know the volume of arvio?

Caps are duty free.Adverse Effects wrote: ↑Fri, 27 Jul 2018, 07:14 LOL $69030 for 7kwh + shipping + GST + luxury tax + import fees
Customs+DHL/Fedex would be $108 under $10k.
Can't remember what it is over $10k I think it was like $180.
AUD$108k + shipping
Seafreight about $1,500.
So $110k at your door.
Awesome.
I'll take 5.
So LOL is right
So the short answer is NO but the long answer is YES.

I have no idea what these price up like in comparison to your miracle $110,000 ones above , however watching interviews with their CEO are a bit more credible.
He doesnt claim these as a battery replacement but as a complementary system to work with Lithium XX batteries to extend life and improve efficiencies particularly from Regen.
Its not just "proposed technology" but is being manufactured and marketed worldwide ( made in Germany and Estonia ).

They are being used in truck and mining machine hybrids , satellites and by NASA.
They ALSO have ultracapacitor truck start batteries . how the heck do they do that ?
