Sally sent these images through:
Have to say, the Joinery is an awesome facility and It's great that the charging stations have gone in right next to it.

Re: Electric Vehicle Charging Hub in Adelaide
Thanks for posting the pics Chris
The EV Hub looks fantastic in the middle of the city - a real attention getter.
In the space of 45 mins yesterday 2 iMievs, a Leaf, an Outlander and 4 Tesla's came and charged.
Also swamped with members of the public asking questions.
Only got to take pics when the rush was over.
Amazing how quickly things can happen once you order a big battery!
I didn't look at the combo connector in detail, I thought it would suit the BMWi3
The Veefils are the fanciest fast chargers I've used to date - very swish, although frustrating for iMievs as you have to physically disconnect and replug the cable to get from 80% to 95% charge. (the AkerWade at Mitsubishi you can leave connected to the car and just press the start button again, same as I remember the CirControl in WA))

Re: Electric Vehicle Charging Hub in Adelaide
The Veefils have CCS2 connectors. Not good for any existing I3's delivered with CCS1 but we have heard the next batch of i3's for Oz will be CCS2....

Actually they appear to still be set with Type-1 CCS cables. Hopefully it's an easy upgrade.

Re: Electric Vehicle Charging Hub in Adelaide
Charged our Imiev a few times this week. I agree it's been set out nice. One small improvement would be some shade while parked.
Between this hub and the dc fast DC charger south of the city at Mitsubishi. I'm finding Adelaide to be very EV friendly. Not to mention flat as a pancake terrain assisting in how often you need to charge

That's right I recall your family was in SA.
Another DIY sustainable house - you must be good at it by now
Ah I'm just jealous. We're still renting here in the West, but we might consider buying something this year. I need a place for all my projects where I can tinker with them long term.

They announced earlier this yr that Mannum is going to get a Tesla charging station some time this yr. Things happen at a rather slow rate out here in the c-o-u-n-t-r-y

Re: Electric Vehicle Charging Hub in Adelaide
There are a few SA towns getting Tesla destination chargers (note - not superchargers!)
Mid-Murray Council - Mannum
Mt Barker Council - Mt Barker and Hahndorf
Wattle Range Council - Millicent and Beachport
