Why would it be good for a turbine the original application was for a treadmill?
A flywheel is good to prevent it starting up in light winds?

You can get plenty of these sort of motors from the Verge Junk collection. Most of them are not rated as high continuous power as this one though.

At the rubish tip recycling center there are heaps of discarded 3phase motors cheap as chips.
New brushes and a rewire and they make fun little motors.
There was one there a few weeks ago the size of warp13
Surprised they don't recycle them for the copper
