Matt,
At UWA same place as usual or somewhere near that room.
Given to 79 people at last meeting we will look for a bigger room.

cyberpal,
Meeting is open to anyone.
Usual formalities though... If you are not a financial member then you can't vote , be nominated or address the meeting (unless invited to).
If you are serious enough to come to meetings then you should consider joining (online, now).

Any changes so far? I had some trouble finding the room last time, I thought I would be trapped all night! heh.
I'll drive an electric vehicle one day.

Don't worry there are a lot more people now - just follow the crowd!
So the short answer is NO but the long answer is YES.

Hi,
I'd like to come along to the AGM but may be a bit late and hence am worried there might not be any crowds to follow by then.

Can someone give a bit of detail about where the meeting will be? GPS coordinates or a Google Maps link would be great Image but a building +/- room number would do.

Cheers,

Hi rhills,

copied from the old meeting thread:
Andrew wrote:How to get there...
From Perth city, take Mounts Bay Road / Stirling Highway in western
direction. You will see UWA's Winthrop Tower on your left at the
intersection with Winthrop Ave. / Thomas Street. Take the next left
(before next traffic lights) at Fairway.
The Electrical Engineering building is near the intersection
of Fairway and Clark Street.
Take Fairway entry #3 and turn to the left for parking.
Parking in all bays excluding Reserved, Disabled or Service bays is free of charge on weekends and before 8:00am and after 5:00pm Monday to Friday.

Take the lift on the far side of the EECE building to the 3rd floor.
The meeting is in the Billings Room (3rd floor) room 304.

Also, the main server is back on the road again so there WILL be live streaming of the Perth Branch AGM tonight so if anyone wants to login and watch the meeting live, please PM me or call Dave (Perth Branch chairman).

edit: here's the map for ya.

When you turn left into #3 enterance take the first left and drive about 50m.
The paved area at the end of the carpark (on right) should lead to the lift.
You won't need to enter any buildings to get to the lift.

Maybe we should get more signs!
So the short answer is NO but the long answer is YES.

I'm about to leave now (45 minutes from Ellenbrook should be about right, I hope!) I'll keep an eye out for an MX5 and a Mustang! :p

It was a good meeting tonight and I hope our remote viewers enjoyed the live streaming! Also great meeting up with some of the new guys.

For those who were watching the live stream remotely, could you please send me some feedback on how it went from your end? PM or email would be great. Ta.

Many thanks for the directions and map, and also for a great meeting. The signs and the famous white Mustang were a great help.

Thanks especially to Tuarn for a fascinating and inspirational talk on AC Conversions. I'd been leaning towards AC anyway, but I think your detailed discussion has sold me. Now to find a donor car and some bits...
