Would have thought you'd be over the hype of PV after BP got them. Image
Economically there is no reason for a business not to do it.
Even on a 5 year plan they are still worth while.

Here the Govt is getting in on the action too...

Do Targawest run any EV's?
So the short answer is NO but the long answer is YES.

Hang on do you get kickbacks from advertising diesel motors on an electric vehicle website? Image

If your business uses a boatload of power during business hours, installing the biggest PV system you can afford is a no-brain decision.

Mount Barker Bakery put 50 kW worth of solar on their roof and the savings were evident after 3 months. They were also able to reduce the size of the connection to the grid which saves them about $40 a day.

Other than the one ev not specific to the original post
This thread fails just like the last thread on solar.
viewtopic.php?title=bp-service-stations ... 555#p57224

Nothing to do with batteries, charging, management and monitoring.
It has no technical discussion.
And basically has nothing to do with ev's.

There is a place called "the lounge" where random threads can go.
Please at least open a thread that has a discussion rather than stating the obvious.

Something like:

TITLE <CHICKEN WINGS>
I saw a bird the other day.
It had wings.
[Insert picture of chicken]

What birds have you seen recently with wings?...
So the short answer is NO but the long answer is YES.

Only a million more links to go for businesses with solar...

Awesome - now I'm with you.
But I would add that they are GREEN charge spots.

A lot of the power to businesses with solar is wasted on the weekends.
If they had an external charge point we could have free power and it wouldn't affect their consumption or the grid.
So the short answer is NO but the long answer is YES.
