40kVA UPS

Hi Guys,

not mine, but I stumbled across this during my travels around the internets:

http://www.bmms.com.au/details.php?id=12107

they're asking for around $2.5k

doesn't come with batteries

I'm kinda thinking of getting it to power my house, with the 800 x 1.2v 30Ah nimh cells I have sitting in my shed
on the fence on this one

If you've been thinking of getting a big inverter to go off grid with, this is probably it. Or if you want to take everyone on your street off grid too?

Are you sure there aren't SLA's in there it weighs 685kg
The manual suggests 450kg.

Seems like a good price for 3-phase power.

All you need then is the 10-15kW of solar.
