These are very exciting vehicles :)

It's the kind of thing that, if going by Facebook comments on mainstream news articles, apparently 99% of Australia needs :D

It might interest the RV towing public. A 5tonne towing capacity covers just about anything being dragged around these days and the ute version would be excellent for those towing 5th wheelers. With such brilliant traction ability it would appeal to those that tend to get stuck when camped up beside a river and it rains over night.
A really big solar array on the roof and you could have free fuel if you weren't in a hurry .....that covers most retired grey nomads living full time on the road these days.

I came across an article about Rivian in the SAE magazine:

The drive layout looks good.

Thanks for the magazine link. Haven't read good automotive magazine for a while. I've forgotten how much engineering been poured into making cars after reading the multiphysics simulator. Gone the days where cars just a shell of metal with explosive chambers in it.

I am not sure how a 2 or 3 motor Cyber Truck was going to be better than this. I believe now Tesla have finally worked out they need 4 motors as well and have a bit of catching up to do.
