Seems the Zoe run-out is almost done! Only 5 left on the car sales sites. 3 in Tas, 1 in WA and one in Vic.
Oh - and a Kangoo ZE second-hand in WA.
Cheers

I know that Buckby motors in Tas tend to only put one ad on carsales, but have several vehicles. I think when we got ours about 3 weeks ago, there were 2 more on the showfloor, red and grey, but he may have had others out back. Very happy with ours.
Enjoy! Zoe is a lovely car. My partner is still wrapt in hers after 2 months. If only Renault had brought the current ZE50 Zoe here .... would've been tempted to swap the Kona if they'd included the R135 GT line Zoe ...

Not a worry as far as I am concerned. Lots of them overseas. In fact they have been the best selling EV in Europe for years. Renault also have an obligation to provide support and parts here for 10 years. Plus Renault are the biggest auto group in the world. Guessing they are likely to be around for a while.... And easy to import parts if all else fails after the 10 yrs are up. (Been doing that for a while for my Renault Clio Cup Sport which is 20 years old - were only 85 of those were ever brought here!).

Yes, I bought the Esperance Zoe. I have only had issues trying to charge at Joondaluo so far. I have called Gemtek. They seem to have shut down the stations there. I'm taking the car back to Renault Melville so they can have a look at it as well. Seems like it could be fault problem on the charger at Joondalup though. Maybe they have not grounded these 22kw unit well enough. I was told that the Zoe was food at sniffing this issue. We will see. I will keep you guys updates.
That costs money. Easier to sell it and hope the customer doesnt notice or if they do notice, let the customer return it on warranty which they can then claim back from Renault AU.
Other problem is they may not have anyone qualified to look at it, and if they do then the technicnician may be qualified but not competent
And now there is only 1. (CJ: is that the famous Esperence experience one? )
... plus one Kangoo EV. (BTW - Renault are still importing and selling them!)

And then there were none. All the Zoe run-out listings are gone on Carsales and Gumtree.
Just one lonely new Kangoo EV van in Tasmania to represent Renault EVs in Australia. A sad situation, given how well Renault EVs sell in Europe...

Wow, that is really interesting.
Price pretty good too with 6% off their list price to give Aussie dollars.
I wonder how it got to NZ? Presumably privately imported from UK or some other RHD place.
NZ does make import of second hand cars easier than in Australia.

Yes - with ZE50 Zoe, Renault introduced CCS2 DC charging as an option. (Plus created the R135 GT Line 'performance' Zoe. That ad is for one of those )

I had a look and unlike Renault Australia, Renault NZ has continued to sell Zoes. You can now order the ZE50, new, in New Zealand.
The addition of DC charging, 52kW battery and a few other bits and pieces should make it a useful car for NZ.
Cheers,
Dave
