Range Meter wanted

Post by gmacd33 » Mon, 27 Jan 2014, 17:12

Hi all, does anyone know where I can buy a range meter of some sort? Something like a petrol guage but with a battery symbol on?!? I'm sure this must come up often, but I haven't been able to find quite what I'm looking for...

Hi Greg,
Neville has made me an Ah counter which counts up as amphours are used. It's kind of like a very simple Cycle Analyst.

I know EV-Power has a simple battery fuel gauge which does the same thing using a series of coloured LEDs. It relies on a shunt and a 12 V supply, and sort of 'self-learns'.

Or get one of Zeva's battery fuel gauge drivers. They're pretty robust.
