I wonder if you can still buy them... GS Yuasa would no doubt be able to sell you one. Probably about $200 or so?

not sure, i cant seam to find any online, even from Yuasa, thinking of building a range extender pack to sit in the boot behind the seats

Is there any reason why a range-extender needs to use the original style batteries ? I understand someone put together an e-jerrycan range a while back and as far as I'm aware, it didn't involve the original batteries. Presumably you are intending to top up the standard battery pack using either an inverter / EVSE / J1772 or a 360 plus voltage battery pack and chademo ?

i was thinking to buy some cells to keep as spares in case my pack looses a cell or 2, its still in very good condition for its age, but just want some spares, and the thought of a jerry can setup has crossed my mind a few times, but havnt really decided what would be the best way to go in that regard. i was thinking to use it through the J1772 plug.

GS Yuasa won't sell you any. Have tried previously for LEV50/N cells.
