The reason why that i-miev is priced at $30k is because the owner of the dealership doesn't want to sell it because of the cars number plate so at the moment its a show and tell car to look stunning to the public but it would go of course for the right price.

Nice find. That is a good price 13,000km is nothing. Even if you purchased the car brand new. Most people would have that many KM or more on it in under 1 years ownership.

I guess now they have upgraded to the Tesla they have very little attachment to the leaf now so set a good price.

That's less than what it cost me to restore and convert the Vogue. Good price - a real bargain. We had a Leaf for 3 months with the Vic EV trial and loved it. (It's even a great colour!)

SOLD!

Just got it licensed today. After painful waiting of interstate shipping and mountain of paperwork to get it re-registered.

South West fast chargers here I come!

PS: Negative effect of electric car that nobody told me: My tinnitus is definitely noticeable now :(. The silence is deafening.

If Nissan ran out their excess stock at $25k I don't think they would have any left. I wonder if they still have an excess stock? Probably don't want to sell them in any case, 5yr battery warranty would most definitely kick in on these cars given how long they have been sitting.

Incredible that dealers still have a few new Leaf (if you can think 2012 model is new) and they still have ~$40k price. Some are getting close to $25k, which is where they should be after 4 years, even if they are basically new the reality is the batteries are degraded and the model is sure to change sometime soon.
Tesla Model 3 will be out before they know it, and plenty of other models are starting to appear as well, so these really old stock will never move. Very strange on Nissan's part to not have done a fire sale for these vehicles yet.

Hi,
I am new to this club but have read several threads.Very informative though i have to learn still alot what it all means.
I am looking at a near new LEAF (about 7000km)(ex Nissan HQ).At the beginning of the test drive it showed 65 km left in the battery.Test drive ca 4km (last 2 min demo rear parking with aircon on),salesman drove very gently (no bragging re acceleration).Km left in battery showed ONLY 48km.
I am worried that the battery is defect.
Any comment greatly appreciated
Cheers
Andy
