Everyone is welcome to attend this important Brisbane EV meeting:
Saturday 12th September, 9.00 am - noon.
Albion Peace Centre (102 McDonald Road, Windsor)
There are two orders of business:
1) Launching the official Brisbane branch of AEVA
2) An update on the emerging community group "Brisbane E-cars".
Brisbane branch of AEVA:
We need at least five existing AEVA members present to be able to form the Queensland branch. Help stack the numbers - join AEVA now for $40. We'll be agreeing to a constitution and electing office bearers.
For any enquiries regarding this part of the meeting, contact Don Saxby (0418748690).
Update on "Brisbane E-cars"
One way to reduce emissions: make your next vehicle electric. Russell, Neil and Adam introduce the ambitious community project "Brisbane E-cars" which aims to help Queenslanders wear the 'EV grin' - soon. There will be time for questions, plenty of scope to get involved, and you can also register your interest in converting a vehicle.
For more information on Brisbane E-cars, contact Russell Austerberry (0423 860 848).
Bring some finger food to share for morning tea.
If you would like to carpool from the north or south coast let us know so we can put you in touch with each other.
The Peace Centre is close to Albion train station in case you wish to arrive by train.
Forward this by email to whoever may be interested.
see you there,
Fo those who are not local to a branch, or looking at starting one
