OK - not a full on conversion. more like sticking to it and getting a prototype (2010 models) to work - 2011 and onwards.

One of two in Australia - my Zero 2011S motorcycle is going well now. Did not like the standard factory setup and started to change to LED indicators, brake light etc.
now looking for ways to get into the brains of the bike to try different tuning. checked out the alltrax controller - not much to tune, seems pretty much on off function. so any leads to tune it ?

Hi Tom,

Which controller do you have? I've got the communications kit if you want to play with some of the settings for AXE and DCX controllers.

thanks Andrew

with a 2010 Zero model we tried to tune the controller. Turns out you cannot change that much - or not have much effect. Then on electricmotorcylces.com feedback is:

Before making any changes, it is prudent to elevate the rear wheel. Honestly, from my experience, changing the controller parameters doesn't have as great an effect as changing the values in the Main Bike Board.

the above thread shows pictures and talks about connectors to the main board.
