EVs at Science Alive!
The AEVA Adelaide branch will be having a display at the Science Alive! expo at the Adelaide Showgrounds on the 8th and 9th of August - hopefully with at least one EV conversion on display. Entry to the science expo is free. Usually about 30,000 people go through!

EVs at Science Alive!
This was a great event with approx 1500 students and teachers going through on the Friday and approx. 35,000 people attending over Saturday and Sunday (8th & 9th Aug.)
We had on display:
- A converted Suzuki Mightyboy EV
- Two production Urban Mover electric bicycles- pedal assist variety.
- A home-built battery powered bicycle trailer with individual motors and chain drive to each of the trailer's wheels, which pushes a standard bicycle along at a speed of approx. 20kph - quite impressive.
- Two modified gophers. One has a F1 body and extra batteries and the other has a larger motor and larger rear wheels. Both had staggering performance with 30kph and 50kph speed available.
There are a couple pictures on the home page of the AEVA Adelaide branch website: www.sa.aeva.asn.au just click thumbs for larger picture.
