Tony Somers spotted it on a ride (yes, his ebikes are pretty cool). Looks like East Perth?

Abandoned vehicles get dealt with by the local council.
They sped a few months tracing the owner.
If they cant be found or the owner refuses to pay impound fees then the title is cleared and put to a silent auction.

The reason it would go to a police auction is if it was part of a crime and the owner was the criminal.(criminal seizure)
In which case it wouldn't be there with a sticker.

So you need to know which city council the car is in to find the silent auction.
I was guessing East perth too.
So the short answer is NO but the long answer is YES.
