ICED education flyer

Post by Ultralights » Mon, 24 Jul 2017, 19:29

Got bored today, so decided to make a quick flyer for ICE vehicles in EV charging locations,   its polite, and with an educational viewpoint.

it has also got me thinking about making up an fine type document, similar to a parking fine, with account details that can be used to help fund AEVA from fines given to ICE vehicles parked in EV charger spots, with permission from the carpark owner/operators and charger hardware owners.

I'll send you the AEVA-issued signage if you'd like to add that to the page. Just PM your email address.

I know, I was more suggesting the ICE-er might like to take an interest in the work of our association as well.

I like the politeness of it. Thanking the ICEr for their interest in EVs is a clever way to diffuse a potential conflict. It's a little too wordy for my liking though, but that's no big deal.

That's a great idea to list the manufacturers and I suggest you add all PHEV makers as well, e.g. Volvo, Audi, and Mercedes Benz. Perhaps try to cover any vehicles that the ICER is likely to see plugged in as he drives around carparks with his newly discovered interest in EV spotting (one can only hope). Image

I don't feel that it is too wordy; I switched to ICE driver mindset while reading and appreciated the subtlety, rather than the sometimes brutal " hey stupid!!!" approach used by some do-gooders . Image
