If they make it sound like the government is holding them back, they might get a response, positive or otherwise. Shame though. Seems we can have 64 kinds of automobile in this country, so what's a few more?

unless Renault offer to build them here they won't get government attention even then its unlikely.
I thought it was a good sign when the turned up with the kangoo and started taking expressions of interest on their website.

It's bit of a catch 22.
They wont bring any in until there is charging infrastructure.
We don't need the infrastructure until the come in.
I guess they forgot that most of charging is at home.
Most public charging is done because they "can" not because they "need".

The Zoe has the big plus of AC fast charge on board too. For houses that have 3 phase power it would be quite a quick charge.
It beats me why they are faffing with the Twizy lobbying transport in Australia when the Zoe would make sense right now.

Yes I was looking forward to the Zoe being the first affordable EV in Australia.
Nissan still won't sell us Aussies the base model Leaf either.
