ELECTRIKHANA 2015!

Hey everybody!

Electrikhana 2015 is on soon - March 7th at the RAC DTEC. Where? Formerly known as the RAC Driving Centre, 16 Grogan Road, Perth International Airport. It's set to be the biggest one yet, with several new makes of EV to be on display, and most of them are available for test-drives and test rides.

We really need AEVA members who are keen to volunteer during the day. Things like fielding questions from the visitors, driver/passenger management and helping folks set up stalls.

Our first branch meeting for 2015 will be February 10th at UWA, so make sure you come along and get the run-down on the day's plans.

Let's make sure we double last year's attendance - aiming for 1000 visitors this time!

Feel free to send this flier around, print it and hang it in the office, plaster it on shopping centre walls and get out there on social media!

AEVA Perth member Frank Lister took delivery of his Model S last Tuesday. The local paper did a story on it, and included a nice big plug for Electrikhana 2015!

Mark Lutheridge (spelling?) will be bringing his Model S down to Electrikhana too!

The Tesla owners at last week's Perth Branch meeting indicated they would be happy to take passengers around the circuit.

I must admit, if I'd just paid > $100K for a brand new car, I'd be a bit nervous about letting strangers drive it, even on a small, controlled circuit! Still, you never know your luck.

I got to drive one on monday, besides putting it into neutral at stop sign and driving a lot slower than he did it was great.

It was Martin Eberhard who was the brainchild.
Elon Musk just bought it out.

The story came out quite well I think. The Perth Electric Car Show is indeed Electrikhana. Hopefully their details will appear on the Today Tonight website soon.

The audio wasn't great for what I assume was the RAC guy.
It would have been better with the pop-up bars with some names.

Other than that it came up pretty good.
