Fly by wire for you BMW E30 nutters

Hi all,
I am beginning my next EV and wanted to post a win I had for my BMW E30

See my updated blog http://malfunction.faed.name/ for details of fitting a later model fly by wire accelerator to an E30.

It almost fits perfectly! The top stud needs 'adjusting' but not too much drama.

See also info on Azure Dynamics parts.

Further research reveals that the same pedal is used on the following BMW models:

E39 (5 Series)
E46 (3 Series)
E52 (Z8 Roadster)
E53 (X5 SUV)

I had a look at the pedal on my E36, it appears to be the same design, so this could be useful for E36 converters as well. Thanks Mal!

Further, RealOEM seems to suggest there is no difference between the LHD and RHD pedals. The same part number shows up on many vehicles, Europe, USA, LHD, RHD.
