EMW Juice Box

Hi Guys,

My EMW Juicebox arrived today

Image

I bought mine as part of the kickstarter promotion (the first one they sent last year dissappeared off the face of the earth before it arrived, so they had to send a new one - that's why it's so late)

I will probably swap this out with my hardwired Open EVSE, that's been giving me so much trouble

if that is meant to be a "new purpose built" item why dose the board look like it has 2/3 blank?

talks to your J1772 enabled car and turns on the relay when the car gives the right signals back.

it's a glorified switch - same as all the other J1772 charge stations (which are in no way chargers)

nope, just the cheapest most basic version

probably because all the other options I didn't pay for, so the board wasn't populated

I'm hardwiring mine, not sure whether to do it at my dad's house or mine

anyway, plenty of room on both switch boards when you have a 3-phase 100A connection to the house

I'll only set it up for 32A as that's easy, although if I happen to buy a tesla I might update that :p
