Rare historic EV for sale

Post by lobster »

On another thread D-Collins posted a link to thunderstruck-ev.

They have interesting new stuff and some bargains on this Link https://www.thunderstruck-ev.com/garage-sale-items-ev/

Halfway down the page they have a historic vehicle the "ALIAS by Zap. No batteries or charger, a bit beat up since this photo was taken, but still has UQM drive system. $6k."

This car has been reported in various online articles and has its own wiki page https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ZAP_Alias

It was driven by Al Unser, Jr. at a competition event the Automotive X Prize

Part 1 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=INuLI37ZU7A

Part 2 https://zapalias.wordpress.com/2010/05/ ... e-x-prize/

Lots more videos here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ouIQRK2EEtU

Google: ALIAS by Zap for more images, stories and YouTube videos. https://youtu.be/g0kgLEYsFz0

This would a great project car for an AEVA member.

Cheers, Steve

Just FYI, while Thunderstruck sounds aussie, they are based in America. That's why the prices all sound good.
