Thanks @fffffred !

I always underestimate mature industry unseen work, especially when it comes to testing and validation (page 12 and 13 of the magazine).

@francisco.shi's impressive workshop must have one of these!!

I have the same mixed feelings. We are being tracked by every corporation and their dog already and we cannot avoid it without truly going off the grid and living in a faraday cage... Opening can of (philosophical) worms here :geek: . Is there anything wrong being tracked (if one does nothing wrong...

That's the first time I see kona's 'engine bay'. Lot's of space!

I wonder if Hyundai actually worked harder in the beginning to make kona pure ev (instead adapting it from petrol model), that'll be a big frunk!

There's one for sale in the facebook Nissan Leaf Australia page for 36k, only done 6kkm. It's definitely the best bargain to date I reckon. If I haven't spent money to replace...

This is very good however is there also a plan for the upkeep of the network? We haven't ventured far in our Ioniq and have been lucky in that all chargers we've visited have been working with no connection problems (including a telsa destination) but from the looks of it some of the RAC electric h...

Re: getting small business to share their powerpoints

I need DCFC every 80km due to my dismal 13kWh usable capacity

My definition of usable capacity:
  • Between Very Low Battery Warning (Leaf-speak) and 80% charge, as anything beyond 80% charge is waaaay to slow (again, leaf-speak).
  • 100kph travel (that's 16kWh/100km for me)

When I saw the statement " Our initial target price is between $26K - $49K ", I don't think there's going to be public appetite for these things. From what I've observed to date, expensive ultra-efficient cars are only for extremely niche market, so maybe only will sell by the thousands? i...

The question is: Is it worth to pay $200 per year to be connected to the grid if you can generate all the energy you need. ... It's $360 for us in WA :( . Unless it's different in Albany, Chris ?
