It is useful for comparison when wanting to swap to a different second hand battery.

The soh (state of health) % tells a similar story though

Re: 3 phase outlet, what is suitable for EV charging?

Anstiscab, surely your pole or pit to house cable is at least 10 mm²? So you'd be able to get more than the 38 A per phase than 6 mm² cable can usually safely handle? But maybe they use thinner conductors for 3 phase houses, I don't know. It seems silly to limit three phase houses to just a little ...

Re: 3 phase outlet, what is suitable for EV charging?

Maybe The 63A breaker may be there simply to act as a switch, rather than be there for current protection The utilities are a bit of a law unto themselves. At my house I have my incoming mains has a 100A fuse on each phase. I was really excited when I bought the house as I thought the connection was...

Re: i-miev degradation in the tropics

There's a wreck here in WA. I've been toying with the idea of getting it, selling the battery off, and using it in the short term to validate a new battery pack (likely with Chris), and in the long term to be spare parts for my dads imiev.

Re: Kona EV Real World Range Experience

On the subject of consumption, is there a best way to describe it. 15Kw/100Km or 225Wh/Km or something else. I prefer 5.8L/100Km to Km/L or anything else. Which consumption figure can we best get a feel for (there's a better way to say that but I can't think of it right now). There's actually only ...

Re: second hand imiev batterie

There is in Perth, due to Joseph buying a whole new battery for his imiev. But it's individual cells that are available, not a whole battery. There is a crash damaged imiev for sale here in WA with a complete battery. There may be space to do a deal. I do know there's been at least 2 imievs that hav...

16A breaker to multiple 10A points is fine as long as the wire in the wall is at least 2.5mm2 any ideas how heavy the wire from the transformer out the front is? Got a pair of binoculars? see if there's a name plate on the transformer to work out how big it is. If you're putting a new point in, I ag...

Re: i-miev degradation in the tropics

There are second hand imiev batteries available.
Josephs old pack is sitting at EV Shop for instance.

in case of a complete failure, I would be swapping to a second hand 80 or 90km range pack on the cheap, if that's all the range you need

I'm assuming you have already looked at the usual maps, plugshare, nextcharge, recargo and chargepoint? I do have a friend who works for the Mooreland (I think that's how you spell it) council, who has been able to get a number of stations installed. He owns a kona too, and previously owned a Zoe

yep, that's the temp in the middle of the tank. I've been toying with the idea of putting a temp sensor every 10th up the side of the tank so I can get an idea of how much hot water is left the compressor heats top down too, so target temp is likely exceeded at the top of the tank (though the temper...

Re: Nimh in parrallel

The cells and wiring are rated to 60A continuous. I don't think a fuse would have helped. Voltage monitoring (stay below 145v, as the runaway condition would have been triggered by an excursion above 150v) or temp monitoring may have done the trick. The former I'll implement. I have heaps more cells...
